About the Teacher:
I graduated from ECU in December 2014. My license allows me to teach Elementary, Middle School Math, Middle School Science, and Reading K-12. My reading classes during my undergraduate were among my favorite courses. My love for teaching reading became more evident during my first year teaching, which is why I decided to return to ECU and graduated in May 2018 with my Master's in Reading Education. I have many fresh ideas that I cannot wait to incorporate throughout our school day.
My first two years teaching were spent in Craven County. The school year following graduation, I began teaching Kindergarten. My second year I taught Fifth Grade. Both years were wonderful, and I learned much about the grade levels, schools, students, and teaching. My internship was in Second Grade, and I was ecstatic to join the Second Grade team at PCPS in 2017 and have enjoyed every moment since that time! I am looking forward to continuing my time in Second Grade as I work with each of you this year!
