We are happy to welcome Ms. Melissa Dana as our assistant principal for PCPS. Ms. Dana made her way around school this morning greeting our students and staff. Ms. Dana had this to share about herself: "This is my 29th year in education and I have had the opportunity to be at every level as either teacher or administration. I spent the first 15 years teaching middle school ELA/SS and then transitioned to assistant principal for three years. This was all in the Belhaven, NC area. After that I spent two years as principal of SW Snowden in Aurora and then 4 years as Principal at Eastern Elementary. By that time, I was ready to return to the classroom and I have spent the last four and half years at PCHS teaching English."
