Principal's Message

Welcome to Pamlico County Primary School! 

 

 

I am truly excited to extend my warmest welcome as we begin the 2023-2024 school year at PCPS. As principal and a community member, it is my privilege and honor to serve the students and families of Pamlico County. 

 

The 2023-2024 school year will begin my third year as a principal for Pamlico County Schools. As the previous principal at Fred A. Anderson Elementary and former Assistant Principal at Pamlico County High School, I have a unique perspective of knowing exactly where our students are going. These experiences as an administrator and also as an elementary school teacher have shown me firsthand how to best prepare our students to be successful not only as they move through Pamlico County Schools, but beyond graduation as well. In order to do this, it is important to lay a strong foundation early and give our students the best start possible. At PCPS we believe that giving our students the best start is only possible with the strong support of our families and we appreciate your support and commitment to your child's growth this school year. 

 

As we progress through this school year we encourage you to have an active part of your child's education and to get involved with our school community. We are excited for the success ahead and we know that this school year will be the best year yet!
